I know I haven’t been very active on here lately but I’ve been going through some personal stuff, mostly just relationship issues. Last night my mind wouldn’t shut up so I was wide awake at 6:30 so I decided to just go for a run. I ended up running 3.75 miles in 43:57 at a pace of 11:43 per mile! I’m very pleased with that time since I haven’t ran outside in 2 weeks! :) I feel so awesome right now I’ve never been more happy after a run! :)
Like outside, for the first time in a week! 3.5 miles without stopping! Wish me luck! :)
I haven’t ran outside in about a week and I’m ready to get back on track! Hopefully I’ll wake up in time unlike today! :(
I’m going to run my second 5k on July 4th so this is my continued training :) My goal is to run the 5k in under 25 minutes (8 minutes per mile)! My goal for the end of the summer is to run a 10k! Going to get my butt into shape before school starts! :)
This morning I ran 2.47 miles in 26:26 with a pace of 10:40 min/mi. Not too bad but I know I couldv’e done better if the “Running Dog” wasn’t out. Let me tell you about this dog! It’s this cute little shih tzu-looking dog that’s all quiet and sweet, unless you are moving at any pace faster than walking! I was just running minding my own business until he started chasing after me barking like crazy! So I started running faster but then he just ran faster and barked louder. Finally I just stopped and started walking normal and he just turned around and started barking at some guy riding his bike. Seriously, so annoying! I’m obsessed with animals, I mean ALL animals but this little dog is probably this most obnoxious dog I’ve ever come across! Hopefully tomorrow he won’t be outside!
This morning I ran 2.25 in 24:19 at a pace of 10:48 min/mi. Even though my goal was to run 2.5 miles, that’s still faster than I did yesterday! Tomorrow my goal is to do a 2.5 mile run in 26:00 or less! What are your running goals?
I only ran 2 miles cause I had to be at work at 9:00 so I didn’thave that much time :( But I finished 22:35, which isn’t too bad. Tomorrow I want to try and run 2.5 miles in 26:00 or less!
Now I’m off to the gym to try another Turbokick class, then doing some legs and abs! :)
OMG I’m so tried! I had a busy day shopping with my boyfriend, then having a little movie night :) So ready to get some sleep so I can wake up early and do my morning run before work! I’ll be posting my running schedule for June in the next couple of days! Not only will I be training for my next 5k on July 4th (I want to try and complete it in under 30 minutes), I also want to be able to run 5 miles straight by the end of June! :)

Haha, I was so happy with all my goodies! :) I got a T-shirt, 2 water bottles, a medicine holder, a chewy bar, and 2 fruit strips! And of course I got to keep my little number :)
This morning went great! I got up bright and early at 6:00 a.m. so me and my friend Kaytlin could be at ‘The Villagio’ shopping center where the 5k took place at 6:30. We got there and it was so awesome and filled with positive energy! We ran into my other friend Alex and her mom who were also running the 5k, which was exciting to see some more familiar faces.
The path was just up and down the street that the shopping center was off of so it wasn’t confusing or anything. We started off towards the front and even though some people were passing us, we kept a pretty good pace overall. I always feel bad when I run with Kaytlin because I know I’m just slowing her down lol!
We ended up finishing 3.12 miles in 32:11!!! My goal was to try and get under 30 minutes but now I still think I did pretty good! I also ran the entire 3 miles without stopping! Not even once! :) I was so excited and felt so accomplished when I crossed the finish line! :)
I had an awesome time today! Now I can’t wait to find another 5k to run! I want to do two more 5ks then go up to a 10k! Hopefully I’ll be able to run a 10k by the end of the summer! :)
Off to bed to get a good night’s rest! :) Hopefully I’ll run the whole thing without stopping! I’ll post an update tomorrow afternoon on how it went. Any last minute advice?
I ran 2 miles straight without stopping at all! :) My time was 21:37 which isn’t too bad for my first time! This is how I’m going to train from now on, just running without stopping and trying to get a little further each day. So from now on, no more stopping! :) My friend and I are going to run the path that we will be running tomorrow for our 5k so hopefully I’ll be able to keep up! :)
Tomorrow my friend and I are going to run the trail that we will be running Saturday morning at our 5k! We decided we were going to go for a night run since it’s hot as heck during the day! I’m still wanted to run in the morning, so my goal for tomorrow morning is to run 2 miles without stopping! If I could run it in 20:00 or under that would be great too :)
