Sooooo I’ve pretty much gave up on the GM’s Cleanse. I didn’t find it a very nutritional way to cleanse and it really wasn’t sufficing my personal needs. I have lost 3 pounds since the start of the cleanse 5 days ago! The one thing I did like about it was the first 3 days you ate either just fruits, just veggies, or both. Obviously since I was forced to I really focused on eating those foods. I realized that I should purchase more fruits and veggies and instead of buying fast food at school, I should just bring healthy foods. I’ve always thought like this but I’ve just been too lazy, when it really takes no time at all to prepare my meals the day before.
Overall, I would NOT recommend this cleanse. I would recommend trying it, but definitely which modifying it to fit your personal needs. I personally added protein each day since I am a dance major and I walk 2 miles each day at school. But just to do the cleanse and nothing else, I do not recommend it.
Day was yesterday but I was so tired when I got off of work I didn’t write my daily summery! So I was really looking forward to Day 4 (bananas and milk day) because I had been looking at the bananas on the fridge just wanted one so bad the first three days! Sadly, my bananas were a little too ripe so they didn’t taste the way I like them too.
I still ate 2 for breakfast, with a glass of milk, Then for lunch I had a Turkey Thin and chocolate milk from Einstein Bros Bagels (see my picture from yesterday), then for dinner I had 3 more bananas, and a side salad with vinaigrette dressing. Overall, not a bad day. I stayed under my caloric limit, but I didn’t go to the gym. I haven’t been all week since they messed up my schedule at work and I had to teach a dance private on Monday.
I’m going to figure out a new gym schedule for me to work around my schedule, I’ll probably be posting that soon too! Does anyone else have a busy schedule? How do you work around your schedule for gym time?
So day 3 (fruits and veggies) is done! I can say I did pretty horrible today :/ Not too proud of myself. I started out with a toaster scramble, so I hopefully wouldn’t get tired of the fruits and veggies. It worked for a while, at lunch I ate Just for One corn and Just for One broccoli with cucumbers and carrots. For a snack I had a cup of grapes. I’m a dance major so I go to dance class everyday, which normally I count that as light intensity, but today I counted it as moderate intensity cause I worked up a major sweat! So I felt better about missing the gym yesterday!
For those of you who don’t know, I am currently working two jobs, one of which is a nanny for a 10 year old boy. When I got to his house after school I was starving, and I really wanted some protein so I heated up a turkey burger patty with provolone cheese and ate that. Not tooooo bad right?
Well, I get to my other job (I’m a server/bartender at a bowling center), where I am constantly moving and running around serving people. I started to get a little hungry so I drank a big glass of water and kept working. But then…it happened…I smelled…THE WINGS O.O Yep, I was bringing lane 24 his boneless hot wings and man, did they smell good! I made a comment to the cook of how good they looked, then he made me some for free…so I HAD to eat them ;( Again, I’m not too proud of myself, but it made me feel better than even after I entered ALL the food I ate in my Lose It! app, I was still under 300 calories!
Tomorrow is banana and milk day, which I’m pretty sure might be the first day that I actually eat exactly that! I am also going to try and go to the gym in the morning BEFORE I go to school since I’ve missed today and yesterdays workouts because of school and work :/

So today was my first day of the GM’s cleanse (and if you don’t know what that is, look at my next post ;P). Day one is all fruits! I thought this would be the easiest day considering how much I love fruit, but it was actually pretty difficult.
I started off with watermelon for breakfast, then continued to eat grapes and an apple throughout the day. At around 2:00 I just wanted something WARM. I did not want to put another cold piece of fruit in my mouth. I figured it wouldn’t kill me to eat some broccoli, so I steamed up some broccoli and had that.
I thought about what I would bring to work for dinner and the thought of more grapes disgusted me, but I put a cup in a baggy anyways. It wasn’t until I got to work I realized I could not eat anymore fruit. Not only did the thought make me want to gag, but I realized I hadn’t had an protein for the day. So for dinner I ate a kids hamburger with strawberries.
I was a little disappointed in myself since day one didn’t really go to plan, but then I remembered that this was my first day. I also felt a lot better when I realized I still only ate 1,048 calories, which is still 293 under budget for me!
Tomorrow is veggie day! Hope this one goes a little better!

Very recently, I have been experimenting with the sauna at my gym. I have been going for 10 minutes after my workout. I was curious on the positive effects of the sauna so I did a little research! Thought I would share with my lovely followers! :)

I have trouble sometimes (okay, ALOT of times) staying focused and inspired. What keeps you inspired on your weight loss journey?
Omg I hate how I havn’t been on this blog! :( But now that school has started I should have time to get on it everyday! I love coming on here and getting inspiration from my followers and the blogs I follow!
Annnnyyyywayyys! This morning I had a Pillsbury Toaster Scramble (180 cals) and some Pumpkin Spice coffee (120 cals, YUMM!) Today I have ballet class and dance improvisation, so about 2 1/2 hours of moving around :)
Everyday I have a 2 hour break so I’m going to start going to the REC during that time instead of just blogging ;)
Wow, I can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve logged into tumblr! I’ve missed it so much but I’ve been so busy with school! Well now I’m back with a vengeance! This semester was my first semester at the University of Houston as a dance major, got into my first apartment and juggled two jobs. I stayed active but spent little time at the gym. Well now in going to start focusing on me and my body.
I’m going to start with some small “End of The Year” goals! And here they are!
-Lose at least 2 pounds (135)
-Run a mile in 8 minutes
-Lose 3 inches off my body
Just some small goals before I set some bigger ones for the New Year! :) I will be posting my meals and my workouts on here to keep me accountable and hopefully get some inspiration from my beautiful followers! :)

These are my goals for the rest of July (: I’ll be posting a daily log of everything I ate (I’m still on Weight Watchers) and my exercise!

This is my workout schedule for this week :)
