Just having a relaxing Monday night! My boyfriend doesn’t have much low-point foods at his apartment but he’s so sweet and bought me some Healthy Choice Steamers meals. I try to stay away from prepackaged frozen dinners but he’s so sweet I figured I’d eat one for dinner. So I had a honey balsamic chicken dinner with a grapefruit on the side. Now I’m just laying around with my kitties watching DWTS and the Bachelorette :)
So I made it past the second round of tryouts today! I’m super excited to see if I make the final cut tomorrow! :) I’m also excited to get back on my eating and exercise schedule! I’ve been eating a lot of fast food the past few days, and not really picking the healthiest options, just the ones that are going to keep me full for a long time. I can honestly say tomorrow is going to be a healthy menu day for sure! :)
Sorry I’ve been so quiet the past few days, I’ve been getting ready for the Cougar Doll tryouts which started today! For those of you who don’t know, the Cougar Dolls are the dance team at the University of Houston. Tonight was the first night of tryouts and we learned a short pom routine then went through our first round of cuts. I’m happy to say I made the first cut! :) So now tomorrow I’ll go back at 8:30 and we’ll learn a jazz routine and perform our 20 sec. solos. Then another cut. After the cut we will have lunch then learn a hip hop routine and then guess what?! Another cut! After the second cut the girls who remain will stay to learn the finals piece which will be performed in front of the judges and the final cuts will be made :)
So tomorrow will be one busy day! Lots of calories being burned! :)

My schedule for the week! I’m working on all the requirements for tryouts this weekend! They are Friday (5:30-9 p.m.), Saturday (8:30 a.m-6 p.m.), and Sunday (9 a.m.-1p.m.) so you probably won’t be hearing much from me this weekend! With this schedule, I’ll be doing my May Madness and 5k Training schedules! Whew! Going to be a busy week! Wish me luck! :)
